Becoming A Member
Membership in “The Brotherhood” is not open to everyone who is interested. This is a group of men who have entered into covenant with one another to pursue the Christian faith as the number one priority of their life. Because of this, there are strict qualifications to join and high standards that must be met by all men who join this fraternal order.
“The Brotherhood” is open only by invitation to men who have demonstrated a life committed to serving Jesus Christ and advancing the Gospel. There are three levels or ranks of recognition within “The Brotherhood”, by which a man is given greater responsibility in the pursuit of our three priorities. Each rank requires commitment, loyalty, and hard work to achieve.
I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called. With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Ephesians 4:1-3 (KJV)

Any man interested in entering into the covenant of brotherhood must first prove his desire by fulfilling the following:
- Be 15 years of age or older.
- Be sponsored by a member of “The Brotherhood” who will confirm the man’s dedication to Christ.
- Attend the bi-weekly fellowships for 6 months, missing no more than 2 gatherings in a row or 4 total fellowships.
- Maintain control of his salt pouch given upon recognition of his interest to join the fellowship. The salt pouch must be worn on his person at all fellowships. Failure to produce the salt pouch more than once when asked will result in the 6-month initiation phase restarting.
- Purchase and wear a navy-blue blazer, white shirt (t-shirts not allowed), blue-jeans, and brown or black shoes to each fellowship.
- Participate in an official initiation ceremony in which he will enter into covenant with his fellow brethren in pursuit of the order’s priorities.
- Submit the dues of $20/month to the Steward at the first fellowship of each month.
